Patient Services is our secure online system designed to make managing your healthcare easier and more efficient. By creating an account, you can:
✔ Order Repeat Prescriptions
- Your repeat medications are visible directly from your account.
- You can also request items not on your repeat list when needed.
- Using the online system helps our Prescription Team process the growing number of requests safely and efficiently.
✔ Book Face‑to‑Face GP Appointments
- Patients can book selected in‑person appointments quickly and securely through their account.
- Please notify us of your symptoms/reason for booking the appointment in the comments box.
✔ Book Smear Test Appointments
- We have now added smear test appointments to the Patient Services online appointment booking system.
- Please note that smear test appointments should only be booked after you have received your official screening invitation from the Scottish Cervical Screening Programme.
If you need to cancel an appointment you can do so up to 24 hours before the appointment, after this time you will need to contact the surgery direct on 537 4407.
Please note: Patient Services is used for requesting prescriptions and booking GP and smear appointments only.
Although the Patient Services website may indicate that you can view your medical record, this feature is not currently available in Scotland.
You can now sign up entirely from home by using our online request form.

The Patient Responsibility
It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date and to ensure your online login information remains secure. You can withdraw your consent for these services at any time by notifying the practice in writing.
Once your request is approved, we will provide you with instructions and your registration details (such as your PIN, Practice ID, Access ID, and Health and Care Number). These will be given to you in person or sent by post to your registered address.
To use this service, you must provide a unique email address that is for your use only; shared accounts cannot be used.
Please note the following regarding your account:
- Appointments: If you have a history of missing appointments without cancelling, you may not be granted access to online booking. If you no longer need an appointment you booked online, please cancel it as soon as possible.
- System Misuse: We monitor the system to ensure it is used fairly. If a patient misuses the service, we will issue a warning. Continued misuse may result in online access being permanently removed. This will not affect your ability to see a doctor or remain registered with the practice.
- Prescriptions: Please check the status of your request online to confirm your medication has been authorised before going to the pharmacy. This is especially important if you are requesting an item that is not on your regular repeat list.
